In its May 2010 meeting, the Board modified the guidelines for the Health Care program to reflect growing emphasis on projects at a systemic level that contribute to improving patients' experiences of health care.

In its February 2010 meeting, the Board approved eligibility for members of the Work College Consortium in our Private Higher Education program.
- New requirements are now in place for those applying to the Private Higher Education and Religion programs. Please see the revised guidelines and supplemental application forms for each of these program areas.
- On May 7, 2010, twelve grants totaling over $2.6 million were approved by the Board, bringing the total grants awarded thus far in 2010 to $5.1 million.
