Evangelical engagement with climate change remains a critical challenge, hindered by political polarization, a perceived tension between faith and environmentalism, and a perception that the issue is too complex for any individual to meaningfully impact. This project, led by Redeeming Babel and The Good Faith podcast in partnership with A Rocha USA and other scientific experts in the climate change space, will create targeted content to shift the conversation towards local, group-based behavior change. Through podcast episodes, short-form videos, and calls to action, we will target a receptive minority to build a “snowball effect” that has the potential to reach wider audiences while equipping them to make changes to their own behaviors in ways that will address climate change effectively. Deliverables include high-quality media content, expert-informed messaging, and community-based engagement strategies. The expected impact is a shift in both attitudes and behaviors among evangelicals, building norms and catalyzing momentum to help scale a movement that integrates environmental stewardship with Christian faith.
