    In 1987 the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations provided its first grant to support the work of Ken Burns. Since then, AVDF has provided nearly $13M in funding to support epic films including The Civil War, Baseball, Jazz, Jackie Robinson, and Country Music. Mr. Burns and his work were recently profiled in the CBS News program 60 Minutes, which can be seen here.
