WJCT Reporting Receives International Coverage

In 2019 the Foundations provided funding to WJCT, the public media affiliate in Jacksonville, Florida, to launch an investigative journalism series chronicling the impact of rising ocean waters in Northeast Florida. The series, ADAPT, has produce high quality reporting on the causes and practical effects of these changes. On October 28 one story produced by ADAPT received international coverage in The Guardian and on the homepage of NPR. AVDF congratulates the ADAPT team for its continued excellent reporting on this important topic.
