Fred Rogers Productions requests support to continue pursuing the organization’s mission of building on their founder’s legacy by creating quality children’s media that models an enthusiasm for learning and earns parent’s trust. In the coming two years, they will continue producing programs that support children’s social-emotional learning, help them develop executive function, and help them develop persistence and resilience. Fred Rogers Productions will create not only new seasons of popular programs for distribution on PBS KIDS broadcasts and streaming video, but also complementary online educational games and related resources for parents and educators. Finally, they will continue advancing diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion in children’s media on screen, behind the scenes, and in our audience.
