Interfaith Writing Fellowship

In order to promote greater awareness and fluency between Americans of different religious backgrounds, Tablet magazine will extend the previous year’s AVDF fellowship for an additional two years, for a religion writer at Tablet to cover the interfaith/religious literacy beat by producing articles on Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and other faith communities, and to be a model for a new kind of religious reporting dedicated to in-depth, sympathetic portrayals of diverse faith practices accessible to wide audiences.
